Thick gel with HY
Suitable for all animal species except fish and amphibians.
Veterinary preparation in the form of a gel with hyaluronic acid that promotes healing of damaged skin and mucous membranes. The gel hydrates the wound and prevents secondary infection. It is mainly used on wounds in the granulation and epithelialisation phase of healing. The consistency of the gel is optimal for application in all positions (does not flow). Excellent adhesion to the wound site. Painless application, non-stinging and non-irritating.

Functions

For the treatment of all types of skin and mucosal wounds where the formation of a scar would jeopardize the return of physiological function (around the eyes, anal opening, genitals, etc.)

For topical application on non-healing wounds (ulcers, cracks, fissures, fistulas) and burns, decayed surgical wounds.

For all wounds in the granulation and epithelial phase of healing.

To reduce bleeding, soothe defects and reduce pain and swelling.

The gel should be applied directly to the defect several times a day in a sufficient layer to follow the edges of the wound.

Cow, Holstein breed, 5 years old
Injury - severe damage to the finger of the left pelvic limb, amputation of the outer finger necessary.
On 28 June 2019, amputation of the outer finger was performed - locally applied compression bandage soaked in SkinMed+ Super solution. Overall - Noroclav for 5 days, Melovem repeated after 5 days.
Daily dressing and cleansing with SkinMed+ Super, followed by application of Cyclospray. From July 1, 2019, SkinMed+ Hydrogel HY (gel with hyaluronic acid) was applied on top of the dressing intended to cover the wound.
Photo 1 - Condition of the wound just after the amputation of the outer finger.
Photos 2 and 3 - Condition after 2 days, when the dressing was applied using a cleansing solution (SkinMed+ Super), a spray (Cyclospray) and then an elastic bandage (Copoly).
Photos 4 and 5 - Condition at 14 days, when a hydrogel with hyaluronic acid (SkinMed+ HydroGel HY) was also used - granulation tissue was formed, covering 2/3 of the wound surface, milk production increased in the dairy cow, slight lameness.
During healing every fifth day of Dinalgen application.
Photo 6 - Status as of 18.7.2019 - granulation tissue already covers the entire incision wound, distal part of the limb without swelling.
