SkinMed+ Superoxide Solutions and Gels

SkinMed+ Superoxidized Solutions and Gels are manufactured using patented ECA (Electro Chemical Activation) technology and are based on controlled reactive oxygen radicals. All products in this range have bactericidal, fungicidal, sporicidal and virus-inactivating effects. Their effect on MRSA (methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus) has also been confirmed.

Resistance does not develop during treatment, which can be prolonged, as confirmed by a number of independent studies. The disinfectant effects can be used not only in the context of wound healing but also on the wound area.

Principles of moist wound healing

Ensuring optimal moisture, pH and stable wound temperature.
It produces a range of nutrients and growth factors that also promote healing.
Removing degradation of secretions or pus.
Cleaning the wound - the moist covering absorbs harmful substances that may be produced by the bacteria present.
Avoiding contact with the external environment and reducing the risk of infection.

Benefits of moist wound healing

Speed of healing - heals wounds up to 40% faster. At the site of application, promote natural controlled granulation healing, promote vasculogenesis and faster tissue repair.
Comfort - compared to gauze and bandages, the moist method is easier to apply, and the cover does not need to be changed as often (some last up to 7 days). Application is required at least 2 times a day if the wound is not covered. In that case, once every two days is sufficient, depending on the type of wound.
Less painful - the covering does not stick to the wound, dressing is not so painful. Some covering itself soothes the wound and reduces pain.
